POLICIES

 

Parking
Parking is available and free with your stay, but limited to one car per room.  Cars must leave the lot by 12pm on the checkout day unless special permission is given.

Occupancy Changes
You must provide advanced notification to change the number of guests in a reservation.  All occupancy changes made to a reservation within 48 hours of checkin are subject to the reservation being revoked at our discretion.

Payment
You may pay through the web portal, by check, or over the phone.  Refunds are issued directly to your credit card if the charge was made within 40 days, by PayPal, or are by mailed check. Any reservation without a valid card on file may be *revoked* unless the balance for the full stay is paid in advance.

Refunds & Cancellation charges
Unless otherwise specified in the confirmation email, the no-show & cancellation fee schedule below applies to all refundable reservations. 

  • No-show & Cancellation fees

    • 72 hours nightly no-show fees

      • All nights within 72 hours of cancellation date are charged upon cancellation

    • 8 days cancellation fee

      • an additional $45 per each night in the booking is charged unless a reservation is cancelled 8 days before checkin

    • Medical appeals

      • 72-hour nightly fees may be waived if the customer provides appropriate documentation.

        • COVID: A positive PCR test taken within 14 days of checkin must be provided to exempt cancellation fees.

  • Deposits are refundable up to one month before your reservation.  Changes to your reservation may be made with up to 3 days notice, after which the full amount is charged.

Deposits made for special events such as Induction Weekend, are not refundable without 45 days prior notice.

Elevator
There are no elevators.  The Motel has 8 rooms on the second floor, and 2 on the third floor.  The Main Street entrance has 18 steps that to to the second floor and continue on to the third.  The rear parking lot entrance has 22 steps separated by a landing that goes to a hallway that includes the second floor rooms and continues to the Main Street staircase.  The rear stairwell also has direct access to rooms 8 and 9.

Smoking
There is no smoking in the motel or in the motel rooms.  A $400 fine will be charged for the removal of smoke smell from a room.

Damages
Missing towels will be charged to the room at a rate of $6-$15 depending on size.  Missing pillows will be charged at a rate of $12 each.  Missing remote controls will be billed at a rate of $30 each. Missing keys will be billed at $50 each.  Missing or damaged lamps and furniture will be billed at our cost with receipt evidence provided.  Other damages to the room, including water damage, will be billed at the cost of service or repair.
